Sukin Skincare.

I have always been a little bit obsessed with trying new skin care, because I have always craved perfect clear, glowing skin. I don't have bad skin, but I always want it to be better so when I heard about this skin care brand I couldn't wait to try it. I purchased these from Priceline for about AU$17 each (I think) and this is actually my second bottle of the moisturiser and almost finished the toner because they are both really great products.

For those of you haven't heard of Sukin - it is an Australian natural skincare range, but they also have products such as Shampoo, Conditioner etc. One product I am going to definitely try next is the Rose Hip Oil which I have heard great things about.

Hydrating Mist Toner
This toner is Alcohol and Paraben Free and contains chamomile and rose water to "help soothe, tone and cool tired skin". I use it every night after washing my face. It feels so nice and refreshing and doesn't make my skin feel tight which I have noticed some other toners do. I do think it has helped make my skin look more refreshed, and it always feels really soft and clean.

Facial Moisturiser
I really like this moisturiser, like I said this is my second bottle. My first impression of this moisturiser was good, because I thought it smelt like fruit tingles but subtle enough not to smell sickly sweet. I don't really notice anymore, but I only use a small amount at night after washing and toning my skin, and also in the mornings after washing my face before applying my makeup.

I am looking forward to trying other products from this brand and will definitely share my opinions on them when I do.

NOTD - Luxe Laque

Just thought I would post a quick picture of my current nails, I am wearing "Luxe Laque" by Revlon and I painted them the day before yesterday and they have just started to chip slightly.

Also, I brought LumiNail online a couple of weeks ago and I can't wait to receive it - I love gel nails but sometimes I am too busy to have them done every few weeks. I also brought a proper LED lamp because the one that comes with Luminail is a small portable lamp and I feel like it would just make it difficult to use. I brought it from OzSale that always takes a long time for postage and brought it on the 13th of this month, so I am hoping it will be here this week. I am definitely going to share my opinions and first impressions on here so expect that (hopefully) later this week or next.

March Favourites.

Neutrogena Acne Stress Control
I have been using this face wash for about 6 weeks - and it has definitely made a noticeable change to my skin. I have quite good skin in general, I get occasional breakouts on my chin but I do believe that when I do get them, it is because of stress and/or hormones. This face wash is a cream wash, which makes it easy to use and it makes my skin feel very clean. I will probably do another post on my skin care routine, and will do a bit more of an in depth review on this product then.

LeTan Jet Dry Instant Spray Tan in Bronze
I got this product form Kmart for about AU $7 which I think is pretty great for a decent spray tanning product. I like LeTan products in general, and I think I will also do a self tanning post in the near future so I will share my opinions on a few other LeTan products aswell but basically this is great for if you want to quickly achieve a nice even tan, and it is really easy to use. I am really fussy about the smell of some spray tanning products, but this one doesn't smell bad at all and for the price I definitely have no complaints.

Real Techniques Stippling Brush
As you can see, this brush is a very loved brush and desperately needs to be cleaned. It is great for applying liquid foundations, and I paid about AU $20 which isn't bad for a good quality brush. It looks like it is a bit of a weird shape but that is only because it needs to be washed.

Moroccan Oil
I have actually posted a review on this product already but I had to add it into my favourites because I have been using it every single day. I love this product because it makes my hair feel so much better and look softer and shiny.

Lola by Marc Jacobs
I have had this perfume for about 6 months, and received it as a gift. I liked it when I received it but I think only recently did I realize how much. I have been wearing it every single day, and I think the bottle is so pretty however, it is annoying to keep in my purse.

MAC Prep and Prime Translucent Powder
This has definitely been my most recent discovery, which I love. I got it because I love the Prep and Prime Primer, and thought I'd give this one a go because I felt like it was time to use a new powder. I usually dislike powders that aren't pressed because I find them to be way too messy but this one I like because it makes my face look so much better, my pores look smaller. I will probably do another post on just this product, I have been using it for a few weeks but when I have been using it for a little while longer I will do a full review.

Also, I started my first few days of Tiny Tea but decided to stop and start again on Monday as I feel like I am wasting it if I keep using it while I plan on eating bad food, especially since on Thursday night I had a big night with my girlfriends and alcohol and bad food don't usually go well with a detox. I don't need to lose weight, I weigh 55kgs at the moment and my mail goal of the detox is just too detox my body of all the toxins and to give me more energy. I will definitely post an update on my experience when I start using it properly though.

Moroccan Oil.

This product has done absolute wonders for my hair. It makes it feel healthier, stronger and look shinier. I use the 'Light' formula because I have thin hair and don't want my hair to feel greasy. I usually run it through the mid lengths to ends of my hair after towel drying and washing it, and before blow drying it. Or run it through my ponytail at night and washing it the next morning so it doesn't feel too greasy.

I also LOVE the smell of this product - just a weird fun fact for you there.

I find with oil based products, the packaging gets really oily and gross and I absolutely hate it. Sort of a pet hate I suppose because it puts me off using it completely just because the bottle goes gross, but this product doesn't do that. Hallelujah! It has a screw cap lid and is really easy to use which I love - and I have the travel size because it takes forever for me to use up and easy to just chuck into my bag when travelling.

It cost me about AU $26ish which isn't cheap especially because it is 25mL bottle, but a little bit definitely does go along way so it does last a while. Overall, I love this product!

Tiny Tea.

It seems like the biggest weight loss/fitness craze as of late - are Teatoxes, and for those of you who are wondering "What the hell is a teatox..." basically, its a detox where you drink a lot of tea.

Please note: You still eat while doing this teatox, as the common time frame for these diets is 14 - 28 days. You only incorporate it into a healthy diet, while doing regular exercise to see best results.

There are a few companies bringing out these products, and I have previously used "Skinnymetea" which I liked but decided to try this one and track my progress. If you have any questions about the previous teatox I tried, I am more than happy to answer them if you leave them in the comments below.

Skinnymetea
The first thing I will say about the 'Skinnyme tea' was that I found the packaging inconvenient. The tea is loose leaf, which means you either had to buy a strainer/infuser OR drink it, trying to avoid leaves and stick looking objects that didn't taste or feel nice at all. That being said, I did like the taste of the tea (sort of like green tea but much easier to drink). The colon cleanse tea bags were the ones you took every other night, that were basically supposed to give you a slight laxative effect the next morning - which sounds extremely unpleasant but luckily for me, I didn't have this problem as I didn't leave the tea bag in long enough to make myself sick every second morning. I did like the product a lot - felt less bloated and did lose a few kgs, but just decided to give Tiny Tea a go - purely because it seemed a little more convenient.

Tiny Tea
My first impression of this tea is YAY! Tea bags, no more leaves in my mouth! This teatox is going to be for 28 days - 3 tea bags a day. One half an hour before breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have not tasted it yet so I can not give you a review yet, but I will and I will track my progress as I go.

You can purchase this product HERE!- it is made in Australia but they ship world wide.

LUSH - Fresh Farmacy.

Although this product looks like a bar of soap, it is actually a face wash from LUSH that is known for leaving skin feeling exceptionally clean. I have been using this product for a while now, because I felt as though my skin needed something less harsh so naturally I decided to use a product that is from a cosmetic line that is made with natural products.

As much as I love this product, at times I do feel as though it leaves my skin feeling a little dry but only because after I use it, it feels so clean. This is definitely my favourite face wash from LUSH and I switch back to it each time I feel that my skin needs a break from the chemicals and harsher products found in so many other face wash and scrubs. To make this product last as long as possible, I cut it into small pieces and keep in an air tight container making sure it stays in a dry place.

MaxFactor False Lash Effect.

MaxFactor False Lash Effect has been my everyday go to mascara for the last four years. Not only do I use this mascara everyday, but I also use it on special occasions etc as it is very buildable. When used on an everyday basis, a couple of light coats makes your lashes appear slightly thicker and longer without looking clumped together or over the top. When used more heavily, it gives the appearance of false lashes that are much longer and thicker then your natural lashes.

The bristles on this brush are very small, which makes it easy to coat each and every one of your lashes evenly without looking clumpy. I have repurchased this over and over, and plan to keep doing so.
They have a normal formula, a waterproof formula and the newest one they recently brought out, which is the "24 hour"which are all very very similar, and all very good!

Rimmel London - Kate Moss Lipstick # 12

Until pretty recently, I never thought I could pull off red lipstick. When I saw this lipstick (Rimmel London Kate Moss # 12) I couldn't help but buy it as it is the perfect red lipstick. It isn't too dark, too light or too orange and I thought if there was ever a time to try and wear red lipstick, this was definitely it. It is such a beautiful colour, it isn't drying and it stays on my lips really nicely. I plan on wearing it in an upcoming FOTD so I won't swatch it on my lips for you in this post - just wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on this product. Have you tried any of the lipsticks from this collection? I am going to take a look at the other colours now I know what a great quality lipstick it is.

MAC Pro Long Wear Foundation.

This is my holy grail foundation, by far - I use it everyday and it lasts all day. I feel like I have spent a lot of time trying to find the "perfect" foundation for my skin - and when I say perfect, the criteria has always been; a foundation that stays on my skin all day, doesn't make me oily or patchy, and doesn't look like I have a lot of makeup caked onto my skin.

This foundation is all of that and more; I don't think I could say a bad thing about it. I find it easy to apply and blend, it looks like my skin but better, it has a pump so it makes it a bit more convenient and this may sound strange but I really like the smell of MAC foundations.  I should also tell you what my skin type is so you can compare it to yours and see if it is going to work for your skin the same way it does mine; my skin is pretty average - it isn't overly oily or dry but I am prone to breakouts mainly on my chin, but I put it down to mainly stress and hormones.

I would recommend this foundation to anyone looking for something to make their skin look flawless without looking or feeling heavy. The coverage is definitely more of a medium to full coverage and is definitely buildable to anyone wanting more then medium coverage.
