J Bronze Dark Tanning Mousse.

J Bronze is a new Fake Tan line created by Australian beauty Jennifer Hawkins. Not only is she one of the most beautiful women on the planet she also has created what I think is a pretty great fake tan.

There were a couple of different types of tanning products, in a few different shades however originally I had been looking for the St Tropez Dark Tanning Mousse when I came across this one instead.

First impression was that it smelt strongly of coconuts but not in a bad way, I find some similar scents overwhelming but I didn't mind this one. After applying the mousse I found my skin very sticky - now I know that most fake tans will have this effect however I found it to be more so than any of the other I have tried. Another thing that I noticed with this tan that in some places I found it particularly difficult to get off, almost like it had stained my skin but some people might find that a positive rather than a negative - personally I like to apply fresh tan regularly so I did not like that about this tan.

With that being said my overall opinion on this tan is a good one as I think it does apply nicely and is a beautiful, natural looking tan. I would recommend this to people who don't want to pay the extra AUD$20 or so for more expensive brands like Model Co or St Tropez.

NOTD - Tuxedo Gel.

I did not do this to my nails - these were done by my best friend Chantelle who does Gel, Acrylic and Shellac nails! I got obsessed with black gel nails and decided after having black nails week after week that it was time to mix it up a little. The black and white reminds me of tuxedos which I think is pretty unique and I love how shiny gel nail polish is.

Triangl Swimwear.

Firstly I wanted to say I know I have been MIA for the past few months and I wanted to thank all of the beautiful people who sent me messages and kind comments. I overcome a few obstacles and have a new perspective on things that I am incredibly happy about - although it wasn't easy and I had to learn some things the hard way - I found the struggle was well worth it.

Secondly, I thought my comeback blog post should be about my newest obsession which is Triangl Swimwear - these are my first and only pair at the moment but after wearing these and discovering how they not only look amazing on, they are also great quality - I am placing another order this week.

I have the colour "Malibu Blue" and the next on my wish list are "Arizona Sunset", "Miami Mint" & "Penny Wanderlust" which all retail at AUD$86 which I think is a reasonable price for such a great quality bikini. The next thing I love about their EBoutique is that you can get separate sizes, this is incredibly helpful for me as I am a 12 in tops and 8-10 in bottoms so I got the M in both, think I will get a L top with my next order though! They are made of wetsuit material which a lot of companies are bringing out similar pieces!

I am going to Thailand in the next few weeks so can't wait to take and share some pictures and will definitely be putting these bikinis to good use! Stay posted for those photos and lots of other posts.

NOTD - Candy Crunch

This colour reminds me of Barbie, its so pretty and girly! My nails are a little damaged from having acrylics on for so long, but this colour definitely makes them look much better! The colour is Candy Crunch from Factorie, a clothing store which sells pretty cheap clothes sort of equivalent to Supre' but sells mens clothes also. If you have one near you, you should definitely check out the nail polishes cause they are really cheap and have a lot of really nice colours.

My Michael Kors Watches.

Silver Catwalk Chronograph Watch:

This watch I received last October for my birthday and have worn it almost everyday since. I often get comments about how big it is, and thats half the reason I love it. Its heavy and beautiful and has been a staple in my everyday jewellery since the day I got it. It was purchased from ASOS for about AU$300 - $400 I am not positive as it was a gift, but I remember looking at it online for weeks before contemplating on whether I should buy it for myself.

Gold Runway Watch:

I have only had this watch a couple of weeks now and haven't had a chance to have a link taken out so its fits better yet but that hasn't stopped me from wearing it up my forearm. I am head over heels in love with this watch, I have always worn silver jewellery and will definitely still occasionally wear my other one but especially for dressing up I think gold is so much more dressy if that makes any sense? I have never really thought gold suited my skin tone but I couldn't disagree more now after wearing it. I had been eyeing this watch and the Rose Gold one off for a little while on ASOS but I got an email notification about a sale on BrandsExclusive and couldn't resist buying it while it was AU$259 rather than over AU$359 on ASOS. I adore this watch and I am so glad I got it, going to be a staple and will be wearing it a lot so prepare to see this watch in some OOTD posts etc. This watch is two toned as you can see on the band but I am not positive what the other tone is, does anyone know? If so, let me know!

LUSH Sex Bomb Bath Ballistic.

I told you guys I was going to do an individual post on the LUSH Bath products I tried and this one was definitely my favourite one. This is going to be a short post as there isn't too much I have to say about this product besides, if you haven't tried this and you are a bath addict like I am, you should definitely try this one out! This is probably the most talked about, that I know of anyway and I now know why.

It smells beautiful, it looks beautiful and just makes the bath even more luxurious and I think there is nothing more relaxing. The petals at the top of the bath bomb actually feel like rose petals when they are in the water and my skin felt so nice and soft after getting out of the bath. Another thing I loved about this product is it left my skin with a subtle sweet smell which I love!

If you have any LUSH recommendations please leave them in the comments below because I would love to try them!

Frank Body Coffee Scrub.

Safe to say - This is my newest obsession.
If you love the smell of coffee and having soft skin, you need this in your life. Not only does it smell amazing, make your skin feel amazing it also helps blood circulation which decreases the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks. Each time I wash off my fake tan, I follow it up with this and my skin  is left looking and feeling great.

All you need to do is follow the instructions on the back of the packet (pictured above), by leaving the scrub on your skin for 5 to 10 minutes there is a slight oil residue left on your skin but it isn't overwhelming or overbearing - if you have oily or combination skin it advises you should wash your skin with a light body wash afterwards which is what I do.

I have never had bad cellulite or stretch marks but I do have slight marks of cellulite on the highest part of my leg just under my bum, its never been something that I have been embarrassed about because it isn't very noticeable but I notice it, so when I noticed it becoming even less obvious I was extremely happy I purchased this product. I will absolutely be repurchasing this product as it makes my skin look and feel incredible in only a few washes, I definitely noticed my skin felt softer and smoother after the first use.

Purchase yours here  to get the same amazing results! I can honestly not say enough good things about this product, so go check it out to get dirty with Frank!

Doodling.

I thought I would just do a quick post on something I've never really shared on here before. I love art, and drawing whether it be doodling like this or drawing some particular. Abstract pictures like this I find so therapeutic just sitting, drawing and being able to just turn my brain off.

For this picture I used a fine tip Sharpie, a Staedtler non-permenant marker and a Pilot ballpoint pen.

Brush Cleaning 101

I have had a few people in the past ask me how I care for my expensive make up brushes and if I am perfectly honest, I don't wash them as often as I should - but when I do, this is how:

There are several things you can use to clean your brushes, such as hand soap, disinfectant and olive oil to keep them soft etc, but I use Baby Shampoo as I think it is the softest option and still makes them extremely clean.

Using the palm of my hand I pour on some shampoo and clean the brush in circular motions until the water runs clean or the soap is clear. I run the bristles under warm water upside down, making sure not too let the water get into the brush, so the glue holding the bristles together don't get wet - resulting in the brushes hairs falling out.

When I lay my brushes out after cleaning them, I lay them out on a towel rolling up the end to make the towel sit on an angle, with the brush heads facing down so if there is any water left in the brush it will run out instead of letting it get inside the brush.

Most of my brushes are MAC, Sigma, Napoleon Perdis, Eco Tools, Real Techniques etc if you have any questions about what I use for what, or my opinions on any brushes, please leave them in the comments.

LUSH AvoBath Bath Ballistic.

As I mentioned in my LUSH Haul, a few posts ago, I plan on doing a couple of reviews of the products that I got. The first I used was the AvoBath Bath Ballistic as I think this one I was most intrigued about; while everything else I got was quite floral and girly this one was quite different. The scent is very fresh, a little bit minty I think. While a lot of bath bombs make the water feel thicker, this did not do that as much although after getting out my skin felt lovely.

Although green bath water isn't the most appealing idea, this was definitely a great product and I am so glad I tried it. I usually gravitate more towards very girly scents when it comes to baths as you might have noticed in my haul post, but this one is definitely worth checking out and I will definitely repurchase this. I think it'd be great in the summer!

Daisy by Marc Jacobs.

I brought the original Daisy perfume about a year ago and used it religiously for months until I realized I had hardly any left. When I smelt the new fragrance I couldn't help but buy it and it is about twice the size so I know it'll last me much longer. I like this scent better than the oringial scent as I believe it is a little sweeter and I really love the bottle, this one has more flowers with white, yellow and pink and the perfume itself is a light pink rather than yellow.

One thing I love about this perfume is that it lasts such a long time, I sprayed myself before bed last night because I could not get enough of this scent and I could still smell it this morning.

This perfume is perfection, and it is giving my Jimmy Choo perfume a run for its money.

Breast Augmentation - My Experience.

First question I get when people hear I had Breast Augmentation done, is WHY? I often get told "you already had boobs" or "why waste your money?"

Basically, the simplest answer to that question is - because I wanted too.
Yes, I did already have boobs but I decided that I wanted them to be bigger and I was in a position where I could change that and decided that my body is something I am willing to invest in for my own happiness.

I have never been "unhappy" with my body, ofcourse I had days where I wished my hips were smaller or my legs were longer and my boobs were bigger but I had always been content with my body, when I  had heard a friend talking that she had them done and that a surgeon was visiting where I live I decided to make an appointment for a consultation.

It all happened quite fast, the day of my surgery was booked on the day of my first consultation for a months time because I decided that it was what I wanted and I wanted it as soon as possible. I spoke to my surgeon about the size, shape that I wanted and he explained the procedure to me.

For weeks prior to the surgery I was a little nervous but mostly excited. The morning of the surgery I was really quite nervous but the nurses all made me feel really good and reminded me that I had nothing to be nervous about as the surgeon knows what he is doing. The nurses put some compression stockings on my legs, and a small inflating device that wrapped around and slowly inflated on each leg to increase circulation. The surgeon came and drew on my chest with a sharpie, he drew a line in dashes down the centre of my chest, above, underneath, where he would cut and wrote the size on my chest also which was 375 CC. As they wheeled me into the theatre the Aneasthesist told me where he would put the needle - honestly the needle sucked! I am about 13 days post op and still have a purple and green bruise on my hand as they couldn't get a vain and had to put it in my arm (inside of my elbow).

Another question I often get is, "Does it hurt?" and my answer to that question is Yes, for the first few days it does hurt! Its uncomfortable and I was in quite a lot of pain for about 2 days - but after those 2 days I felt them adapt more to my body each day. The first few days when I stood up the pressure on my chest was pretty awful, almost felt like when I stood up they could just fall off.

I tried to sleep in my own bed the first night basically sitting up but I kept sliding down and became uncomfortable and getting back up was very difficult, (luckily I had someone beside me the night I had it done to help me up although I am sure after I woke him up 5 times he was getting a bit annoyed) he helped me up by lifting my back and had to hold my waterbottle up while I took my pain killers. For the next two nights I slept on a recliner - which I found was much easier for sleeping sitting up and not moving too much. The pain killers I were given were Panadene Forte and was told to also have Nurofen (which I personally can't take so I skipped that) but I have heard a lot of people have been given Valium and much stronger pain relief. After 2 days, the Panadene Forte actually made me very sick and I couldn't keep them down so I stopped taking them after 2 days with no pain relief with the exception of Panadol, but I have been told that is common.

I was cut underneath my breasts and the implant was put underneath my muscle, the stitches are dissolvable. I have been back to the hospital once post up to have the dressings changed and they also gave me a cream to reduce the scars which I will start applying tomorrow. I am wearing a surgical bra - I was given 2 and have to wear them day and night for the first two weeks, and then daily for the next 4 weeks. I am super excited to go bra shopping, but even more excited to buy bikinis!!

I am happy to answer any boobie questions anyone has so feel free to comment below, or if you'd rather ask them privately I can give you my personal email address below. I know a lot of people having this procedure done and its definitely much more common now than ever before and I am so happy I have had them done! I know a lot of people will have negative opinions about this post but thats okay because I love my body, even more now and I am so glad I had them done!

Kate Spade iPhone 5 Case.

I just wanted to do a quick post to show you guys my new Kate Spade iPhone 5 case. It is so durable and I really love how great quality it is. As you can see it is white on the back with large black dots and the edges are pink. Such a cute way to accessorise your iPhone!

LUSH Haul.

I absolutely love LUSH products, I particularly like some of the skin care products and one thing I really want to try are the face masks - not sure which one I want to try so if you have tried any and liked them or disliked them please let me know and I'll have to check them out.

This haul is mostly bath products as I love relaxing baths and haven't used any of these in such a long time so thought I would try some new ones.

I got two 'Ballistics' one in 'Avobath' and 'Sex Bomb'. I haven't opened them up to take photos because I am going to do a seperate post on each one while using them so I can show you what it looks like in the water and what I think of them but I can't wait to try these so expect those posts in the near future.

I also got two 'Bubbleroon Bubble Bar' - that look like macaroons and are so cute! The first I got it is 'Yuzu & Cocoa' and I think that it kind of looks like a pumpkin scone! I don't know what yuzu is but I was hoping it would smell chocolatey which I don't think it does but I am looking forward to trying it, and the second is 'Rose Jam'. I basically got this one because it sounds so yummy, and smells exactly like roses which is super girly.

And the last thing I got is 'Porridge Soap' which I got because I have heard good things about it, so I will let you know if it meets my high expectations.

I love LUSH products, I think they are the best to pamper yourself and also make great gifts. All of it is pretty affordable, the moisturisers I find a little pricey but all of the ones I have tried are amazing. I'd love to try some other new products, so please let me know what your favourites are!

NOTD - Pastel & Stripes.

While being home for the week, and after having no nail polish post surgery nails I had been itching to paint them and today was the first day I was feeling up to it. Like most girls I have a ridiculous amount of nail polish so its always so hard to choose what colours I feel like using, but the only thing I was sure about was that I wanted to use the 'Elegant Touch' nail wraps I mentioned in my Drugstore Haul post here.

I used Sally Hansen Gem Crush in 'Big Money' and Orly polishes in Lollipop and Cotton Candy. I absolutely love the purple Orly shade (Lollipop) it is an amazing consistency and the perfect pastel purple colour. I got this after I used all my Barry M Berry Ice Cream and couldn't get my hands on it again in hopes it would be the same shade and I am so glad I did.

I love doing just random things with my nails, when I don't feel like having them all the same colour or just to make them look a little more interesting and I have always loved pastel nails. Let me know what you think or what your favourite nail trends are at the moment - I think next I definitely want to give drawing roses a go (I was going too today however didn't have a steady enough hand).

Batiste Dry Shampoo.

Firstly, for those of you who aren't familiar with the concept of dry shampoo, it is a product that comes in a spray form that you use on the days you don't want to wash your hair and is used to absorb the oils in the scalp making the hair feel and look cleaner. Perfect for when you are trying to extend the period of time between washing your hair, this is perfect for the second or third day until washing it again.

This product has become an absolute staple in my hair care routine, I have a couple of bottles of it - one on my vanity, one in my gym bag and a spare.

As you may know I had Breast Augmentation done last week, so this week I am still in a bit of discomfort and can't lift my hands above my head (I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the procedure, so feel free to leave them in the comments). Unfortunately that means I haven't been able to wash/brush my hair. I am having my hair done tomorrow which I am definitely looking forward too but for the past few days I have just been having someone spray this into my hair for me, to save me from feeling oily or dirty. My hair definitely feels like it needs a wash but it would feel 10 times worse without this product!

Like I said above, this product is now a staple in my gym bag. Some mornings after going to the gym, the last thing you have time for is too wash, dry and style your hair before heading to work so I find this extremely useful on the days I don't want to do too much to it.

The product itself is perfect for people with blonde hair as I find that it makes my roots look a little lighter, before this product I would sometimes use baby powder for the same effect. I know some people with darker hair have complained that it made their hair look a little grey if they didn't rub it into the scalp enough, so if you have darker hair you may need to keep this in mind. This brand has a couple of different scents, I believe the original scent is the most subtle one for everyday but they also have Blush (which I use; it is quite floral scented) and one other I have seen which I believe is Tropical, that smelt quite fresh and fruity.

Drugstore Haul

As I was waiting for my pain meds script to be filled, as always I wondered around the makeup aisles of Priceline. If you don't live in Australia; Priceline is the equivalent of a "drug store" it is a chemist and also sells makeup, skincare, hair care products etc. They recently had a 50% off sale which I missed, I didn't really know about it until it was over because I had put myself on a spending ban and hadn't been to Priceline in weeks. Since seeing everyones hauls off what they got in the sale I was a bit frustrated I hadn't gotten some of the things I had been eyeing off for a while until I remembered, I don't need anymore makeup! But on one of the Haul videos I watched I believe it was Karissa's (satnightsalrite) Haul video and then she did another first impressions video where she used the Revlon ColorStay Whipped Foundation - (below) and I was dyeing to try it.

When I was in high school I tried some other whipped foundations that I liked and I did like the original Revlon ColorStay liquid foundation so I have very high hopes for this product. The shade is absolutely perfect on my skin and I think I was just looking for a change in my foundation routine so this seems like the perfect product to change it around a little bit.

The next things I got are nail wraps! I had to take off my gel nails for surgery on Friday so thought this would be the perfect time to try these out. I got some Sally Hansen ones (below) because they were 50% off the entire range, but I am mostly excited about the Elegant Touch wraps (above). They are in such gorgeous designs and the pastel striped ones will be perfect for an accent nail when doing pastel nails. I can not wait to try these out when I am a little more mobile (as I had Breast Augmentation three days ago) and will be posting some NOTD's for sure using these in the very near future.

The Sally Hansen nail wraps I got were two glittery ones, one in gold and the other is a dark blue and then a plain neon pink which I thought was cute. I haven't really jumped on the neon nails bandwagon yet but this might just be the beginning. I am still loving having gel nails using the LumiNail kit but these look so quick and easy and I can't wait to try them out. The last product I got was Sally Hansen Hard as Nails - this product was also half price and seemed like the perfect time to get it as it was only about AU$7 which is a really good price and since using LumiNail my nails are always very weak and fragile after taking off the gel which I hate. I think I'll be using this product whenever I don't have gel nails in hopes it will improve the strength and overall appearance of my nails but I will keep you posted as to whether or not it actually works.

Clarisonic Mia Review.

I purchased the Clarisonic Mia online about 2 months ago and have been using it twice a day since. I know that twice a day might seem like a lot but in the mornings I only use it for a few seconds on each part of my face and a more in depth clean after removing my makeup each night.

When you first purchase the Clarisonic, before using it you need to charge it for 24 hours which seems like a long time but in theory I used it twice a day for a few weeks before having to charge it again.

This is the first Clarisonic Mia, so it only has one speed setting which is fine with me as I doubt I would change it either way, but I believe the Clarisonic Mia 2 has two different speed settings. I originally purchased this as I felt like my makeup wasn't applying as nicely to my skin as it usually does. Since using this it definitely has improved and I also feel like the toner and moisturiser I use of a night are absorbing into my skin much more than they were before using the Clarisonic.

The bristles on the brush are extremely soft which is great otherwise it would probably feel like it was scratching your face. Because the bristles don't actually rotate or move a great deal, they only vibrate and pulse so quickly you can't see them moving it doesn't feel like it is stripping your face of the oils it needs. I have been using it with Neutrogena Acne Wash and I find it works really well but will probably try another face wash when I run out to see how that works. I think it works best when the face wash is foamed up so I may even look into getting a foam face wash next to try with the Clarisonic.

Unlike the orginial Clarisonic, this does not come with a cradle charger which is a bit of shame as it is a good way to store in the bathroom however the charger it does come with is magnetic which is pretty cool and easy to use. It also comes with a clear cover for the brush head to keep it clean with small holes to air it out. For hygenic reasons I think it is important to deep clean the brush head with disinfectant and after using it I also put a little extra face wash on my hand and clean the bristles (only because the cleanser I am using is quite inexpensive).

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for something to improve the look of their skin tone, fighting acne or just feel like their makeup or face products are not absorbing the way they should be. I don't think I will ever stop using this product as it has made such a big difference to my skincare routine.

** For anyone wondering, the nail polish I am wearing is LumiNail - Miami Pink.

Saturday 11 May 2013

NOTD - LumiNail Miami Pink

Miami Pink is one of my favourite LumiNail polishes at the moment, it looks pretty similar to Caribbean Coral which I also really like. Its a tiny bit messy because when I put them in the UV Lamp they aren't always perfectly flat as I try and fit them all in at once to save time, but they still look really shiny and last a long time and the polish that gets on the skin is easy enough to pick off.

April Favourites.

I know I am a little late posting this, but better late than never. This month is absolutely flying by, I haven't really shared to much information about it yet but I am having Breast Augmentation done this Friday which is so exciting, although extremely scary. So for the last few weeks I have been trying to get an assignment done, exercising as much as possible (as I won't be able to for the next two weeks) and organising my wardrobe so I can get rid of all of the clothes that soon wont fit me anymore - which I will definitely be putting on eBay, and I will give you the links if you want to check them out.

For the month of April I fell in love with a few new products, and rediscovered a couple of old ones as well. I have been using a lot of different products during May as well so I will post my May favourites probably late next week!

Clarisonic Mia in Baby Pink - I am so glad I finally decided to get this product. I have been using it for about 2 months and it has improved my skin dramatically. I have acne prone skin and always have, I have never had terrible acne but its not unusual to get a couple of break outs here and there. I feel like since I have been using my Clarisonic Mia that has decreased sufficiently and when I get a break out it goes away much quicker. My skin is left feeling so clean without feeling stripped of the necessary oils. I have been using it with the Neutrogena Acne wash in Grapefruit which I think is pretty good but I will do a more in depth review with this and some good products to use with it.

Soap & Glory Hand Food - I got this travel size hand cream for $5 which I think is such a great price and is the perfect size for my handbag. It smells amazing and doesn't leave my hands feeling sicky.

LumiNail - This month I have been using LumiNail a lot mostly these three colurs; Miami Pink, Carribean Coral and Long Island Lilac. I like these polishes, but I don't think it is the quality of a manicure from a salon as it is easy to peel off if you pick at them the slightest bit. I do like them though and they do last longer than normal nail polish.

MAC Face and Body Foundation - I have been liking this foundation for when I want less coverage than I get from my Pro Long Wear foundation. I use a couple of layers and apply it with a dense powder brush which I might give more detailed review on later.

MAC 134 Powder Brush - I like this brush for applying MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural or my Nude by Nature powder. Is perfectly dense and wide and easy to use.

MAC Select Cover Up Concealer - I have been using this almost everyday underneath my eyes and the tiniest bit goes a long way. I literally use the smallest amount and still have too much. I really like the way this concealer makes me look much more awake.

LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub - I absolutely love this lip scrub, perfect for regular use without scrubbing too much and leaving your lips sore. My lips always feel soft and absorb lip balm so much better after using this. I have been using this for months, but a lot over the last few weeks and remember why I love it so much.

Jimmy Choo Perfume - I am absolutely in love with this perfume, I have been using it every day without fail and it smells lovely all day. This is definitely my new all time perfume!

Saturday 4 May 2013

NOTD - Carribean Coral LumiNail.

I am in love with the LumiNail kit (first impression post here!)  I got a few weeks ago, this colour is Carribean Coral and I wanted to show you what it looks like straight after being done, before I have filed away any nail polish that cured on my skin. It isn't much and I think its just that when I put both of my hands in the lamp at the same time they aren't perfectly flat but I don't mind filing the sides to save time.

Some people have complained that it takes so long but honestly I don't think it takes too long, although I do have a larger lamp I purchased from eBay which cuts down the time a lot since I can do both at a time.

This is the third time I have used this on my nails, and each time they start growing out and before they start chipping, unless I pick at them. It claims to last up to 14 days, and I think that it does last a good length of time. I usually get sick of the colour by this point anyway and like to change them so it suits me well.

I also love how shiny my nails always look when I have these nail polish colours on. I will definitely be posting more NOTD pictures with the LumiNail polishes.

Everyday Pretty Things.

I thought I would do a quick post about things I use/wear everyday that deserved a mention! I was going to post my April Favourites today but decided to do this one first, and that will be up either tomorrow or the next day. These are kind of like my monthly favourites, the things I always love but don't want to post in my favourites every single month.

Louis Vuitton Zippy Wallet - I have been using this wallet for about 3 years after receiving it as an 18th birthday present. I love this wallet and can't see myself ever buying myself a different one as this will last me forever, I use it everyday and it still looks brand new.

Thomas Sabo Pearl Bracelet - I love this bracelet so much I wear it every single day. I have a cross charm on it because it is small and simple and even though I am not overly religious, I definitely believe in having faith so this is definitely my favourite bracelet.

Michael Kors Silver Watch - I am not positive on the exact model of this watch. I have been wearing it for about a year, and am strongly considering buying it in gold. I love this watch as it is so big and bulky and I don't have to wear much other jewelery with it because it is such a statement piece.

Yves Saint Laurent Parisienne Perfume - I love this for an everyday floral scent and the bottle is just beautiful. I love this perfume as it doesn't smell to strong and has a very elegant smell, rather than a cheaper celebrity made perfume, although I do have a lot of other perfumes that I love aswell.

Rayban Cats - I have these in brown and black, but I will be selling the black ones as on my fair skin and light hair I feel like they are just too dark for me. (If you are interested in buying them please let me know, they are in perfect condition as I never wear them - come with case for about $100). These look so different to any other sunglasses I've worn. They kind of remind me of Chopper Reid, but I love them!!

MAC Plushglass in Fulfilled - I have only had this particular colour for a few days but before then I would have included a different one maybe Pinkarat. I love MAC lipglosses but this one has quickly become my favourite.

NARS Orgasm Blush - This product has a lot of hype in the beauty blog/youtube community and I think it is absolutely well deserved. This is my absolute favourite blush of all time and I use it basically every single day. It has the prettiest gold specs through it and I really feel like it compliments my skin tone.

Monday 29 April 2013

MAC Haul.

Today I was a little bit excited to have this delivered to my desk at work - this haul includes a couple of things I have used before and love, and a few new products I have been wanting to try.

Prep & Prime is one of my favourite everyday products, this is my third or fourth bottle and I find it really works for my skin. If anyone wants to know more about this product I will definitely do a more in depth review.

MSF Natural - I have used this powder once before and I liked it but I didn't really find it as great as everyone says. I have a few powders I always swap from whenever I feel like a change and I heard this powder is great with Face and Body foundation so decided to give it another go.

Face & Body Foundation - I have been wanting to use something more sheer for an everyday foundation, and since using my Clarisonic (review coming soon) I finally feel like my skin is getting to a point where I can start using less coverage. I will definitely let you know what I think of this product because I was always getting questions on my old blog about which MAC foundations I recommend. The first thing that is a big difference between this and any other I have tried is the packaging for one, but the consistency is like none I have ever tried before. If you have tried the Maybelline BB Cream, the consistency is very similar.

Select Cover Up Concealer - I got this because I really wanted to start using a liquid concealer for under my eyes. I have been using cream concealers such as; Studio Sculpt, Benefit Erase Paste & Boing and just felt like it was time for a change.

Eyeliner (210) Brush - I got this brush because for the last few months I have been using more and more liquid eyeliners. I have Blacktrack Fluid Line and haven't quite mastered using this yet so I am hoping this will help.

Powder Brush (134) - This was very pricey for a brush ($109AUD) which I would normally never spend on one brush but thought this was definitely a staple brush to have in my collection as I don't have a brush like this. I feel like it is so dense I won't be wasting as much product like I would on brush with more sparse bristles.

Fulfilled Plushglass - This is my first Plushglass and my first impression is a very very good one. It smells amazing, the colour is just gorgeous and I love the way it makes my lips tingle. Plushglass lipgloss are made to make your lips look more full by "plumping" them. I have used some strong lip plumpers, such as Napoleon Perdis Love Bite (which I find ridiculously painful). However this one definitely isn't painful at all.

If you want to know any more details on any of the mentioned products, feel free to leave them in the comments but I am more than likely going to talk more about these products after using them a bit more.

Goldwell Hair Products.

My new absolute favourite hair products minus one that I'm going to do a seperate post on in a few weeks after I have used it a little bit more so I can give more of an informed opinion. These however I have been using much more often, and I absolutely love them. I used to love KMS and used Silk Sheen religiously until I found these Goldwell products.

My hairdresser had been using this in my hair and each time I noticed that my hair felt like silk for days after wards. When she told me what it was, I brought both the shampoo and conditioner as well as a spray that is like a moisturising heat protectant spray for Blonde and Highlighted hair.

Basically the Shampoo makes my hair feel so clean, and the conditioner makes it feel extremely soft and silky. My hair definitely looks silkier and shinier after using it and they smell like passionfruit so I have absolutely no complaints. I always use the spray after towel drying my hair and I am really liking it paired with my Moroccan oil for keeping it soft and shiny.

Will definitely be repurchasing these products!

LumiNail.

After a good month of waiting since purchasing this kit on OzSale, it finally arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to use it. As you can see above I got extra nail polishes than the three that come in the starter kit. The Starter kit usually retails for about $99AUD and each extra nail polish is $19AUD. I got the Starter Kit for about $50AUD and then the nail polishes came in sets of three for $12AUD so ofcourse - as a nail polish addict, I got all of them.

Above is a picture of everything that comes in the Starter kit - but basically it comes with a small portable lamp, three nail polish colours, a base and a top coat. You also get a "Three in 1 Cleanser" and a "Remover", some instructions, nail files and a instructional DVD.

First impression when opening the box was that the UV Lamp was really small, much smaller than I imagined - and it does need batteries but doesn't come with them. I didn't have any batteries so I couldn't use the lamp, but I had already brought a UV Lamp off eBay a little while ago so was mostly guessing with the time I had to set each nail. While waiting for it to arrive I did look up a couple of other reviews just so I could see what I was getting and a lot of people said one thing they didn't like was the time it took, as you need to set each coat for a couple of minutes. I didn't have this problem so much because I was using a bigger lamp, so they weren't in for as long of a period and my thumb fits in with my other fingers, but in saying that if you were to go to a salon they usually take 20 - 30 minutes too so I guess it isn't too bad really.

I used the light purple which I really like, the first time using its a bit hard to get used to because you have to be really particular not to get it on your skin as it will burn - which I did too my pinky a little bit. So for a first time I think they are pretty good, they are nice and shiny, I don't think they feel as hard as they usually do when I get them done but that might just mean next time I will need to cure them longer.

I am definitely going to post some more NOTD's with these colours, and I will do a post later on letting you know how long they lasted without chipping as it does say they should last up to 14 days.
